About Lauren Fee

Lauren is a registered clinical psychologist. She holds an undergraduate honours degree and clinical masters degree in Psychology from the ANU.

Lauren is a neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQIA+-affirming therapist, whose primary clinical focus areas include: autism and ADHD, childhood trauma, and all matters sex and gender diversity. Clinically, Lauren works with adults across a range of areas, including: depression, anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, psychosis, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bi-polar disorder, childhood trauma, suicidality and self-harm, the gender-affirmation process, and the strengths and challenges associated with ADHD and autism.

Lauren prioritises empathy, respect and collaboration when working with clients. Lauren predominantly works with evidenced-based, trauma and attachment-informed therapies, namely: Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Flash Technique, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS). However, she is an eclectic practitioner and incorporates short-term, strategy-focussed therapies according to client needs. These include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour-informed Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
