Capital Clinical Psychology Pty Ltd (CCP) is a community based, clinical private practice in Canberra.

Our aim at Capital Clinical Psychology Consulting Rooms is to provide the community of the Canberra region with access to quality psychological and mental health related services. To make this happen, we offer our consulting rooms to like-minded, highly professional and qualified psychologists, clinical psychologists and other mental health related practitioners to run their own solo private practices.

All our practitioners are dedicated professionals, who work from an evidence-based perspective, offering a broad range of services as part of their commitment to enhancing and promoting mental health and wellbeing throughout the Canberra community.

How Do I Book an Appointment?

As each of our practitioners runs their own private practice out of our rooms, they look after their own bookings and waitlists. To book with a specific practitioner, you need to contact them directly (see their individual profiles for details).

Capital Clinical Psychology Consulting rooms are all centrally located within the Canberra region, at the O’Connor shops, Canberra CBD (Hobart Place), and Phillip (Townshend St).

What Do I Need to Know to Set Up a Private Practice?

If you join CCP, we can offer advice and support in setting up your private practice and sourcing referrals, making it really easy to get started.

Professional Supervision?

A number of our practitioners offer professional supervision for provisional psychologists completing their final placements. They also offer supervision for clinical registrars, and registered psychologists, clinical psychologists and mental health social workers for ongoing professional development.

Choose the Right Care in a Location that’s Right for You

Currently we have a range of mental health practitioners running their practice out of our rooms in O’Connor, the Canberra CBD, and Phillip. This includes psychologists, clinical psychologists, mental health social workers, counsellors, provisionally registered psychologists, clinical neuropsychologists, and trauma sensitive yoga therapists.

All our practitioners are dedicated to delivering an evidence based, best practice service. All psychologists hold general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (the Board) and AHPRA. Clinical psychologists hold an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology in addition to general registration. All psychologists and Mental Health Social Workers, are registered with Medicare to provide services under a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
