About Dr Sara Quinn
Dr Sara Quinn, BA (Hons), PhD (Clinical Psychology), GAICD, MAPS, FCCLP, MACPA, is a registered psychologist with clinical endorsement working with individuals, couples, organisations, and leaders. She works primarily from CBT and ACT frameworks, supported by training in Gottman Therapy, EMDR, Schema Therapy, and DBT, and informed by other evidence-based approaches where appropriate. Her work is carefully tailored to the needs, goals, and contexts of individuals across the lifespan, couples, and organisations, drawing on evidence-based practice and clinical judgement. Sara provides a safe, inclusive, and affirming space that respects neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ identities and is grounded in trauma-informed practice.
Sara is a Board-approved supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and provides supervision to psychologists and other professionals. As founding director of Quinntessential Psychological Services, she partners with organisations to design and deliver evidence-based interventions, training, and consultancy that support psychologically safe and effective workplaces.
Sara holds current Board Director roles with Mental Health Australia (MHA) and MIEACT and has previously served in senior governance roles across the mental health and allied health sectors, including as Immediate Past President and Chair of the Australian Psychological Society and as a Director of Allied Health Professions Australia.
